CRO AUDIT · $3,500 · 5 DAYS
SPEC 02 / 04 · DIAGNOSTIC

Find out why qualified traffic isn’t converting. Then fix it.

A five-day conversion diagnostic: heuristic review, analytics audit, session-recording analysis, friction map, form-field scoring, and a prioritized fix list ordered by impact and effort. Our last engagement delivered 10× organic traffic and tripled web conversions in one quarter.

Traffic isn’t your problem. What happens after the click is your problem.

Most B2B sites have enough traffic to hit revenue targets. They don’t hit them because the conversion architecture leaks at every step: a homepage that doesn’t say what the company does, CTAs written for the company instead of the buyer, forms that ask for too much, product pages that list specs instead of answering objections, and an analytics stack too broken to tell you any of it.

The fix isn’t a redesign. Redesigns cost six figures, take six months, and usually move conversion rates a few percent in either direction because they swap one set of guesses for another. The fix is a diagnosis: a clear read on which leaks are costing you the most money and which ones you can close in an afternoon.

Let us build the audit, and if you’re ready we can handle implementation as well.

Free agency audits are a sales pitch with audit branding. A $49 tool flags contrast and load times. This is a thorough commercial level audit to find out why qualified traffic does not convert, and to provide clarity in how to fix it.

SECTION B · METHOD · FIG. 02

Five layers. Every one tied to whether visitors convert.

Read this as a funnel in section. Each layer is a place conversion leaks.

The audit finds which leaks are costing you the most and writes the fix order by impact and effort.

LAYER · ANALYTICS & MEASUREMENT

Whether your analytics actually measure what matters.

Roughly half the CRO engagements I’ve run started with an analytics stack that couldn’t answer basic funnel questions: which pages convert, which sources qualify, what the real funnel looks like. If the measurement is broken, every other finding in this audit is a guess.
~50% OF ENGAGEMENTS START WITH A BROKEN MEASUREMENT STACK
02
LAYER · HEURISTIC REVIEW

Whether your pages answer the buyer’s questions in the right order.

Heuristic review of homepage, top 3 service or product pages, and the highest-traffic landing pages against Nielsen and Baymard research. Value prop clarity, message hierarchy, scannability, objection handling, social proof placement, CTA specificity.
03
LAYER · FRICTION MAPPING

Where visitors are actually getting stuck.

Session recordings, heatmaps, and scroll-depth data from Microsoft Clarity (free, gets installed during the audit if you don’t have it). Rage clicks, dead clicks, abandoned forms, exit points. Findings here are usually the most surprising and the cheapest to fix.
MOST TEAMS DISCOVER AT LEAST ONE FRICTION PATTERN THEY DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT
04
LAYER · FORM & CTA PERFORMANCE

Whether your forms and CTAs are doing their job.

Form length, field necessity, error handling, mobile behavior, CTA copy, button placement, form-to-conversion ratios. Most B2B forms ask for fields nobody internally uses: cutting two fields can move conversion 20% on its own.
CUTTING 2 FIELDS ≈ +20% CONVERSION
05
LAYER · FULL-FUNNEL MAPPING

Whether your funnel makes sense end to end.

Path from first visit to qualified lead, mapped against actual analytics data. Drop-off points. Whether the right pages are getting the right traffic. Whether your nurture actually nurtures or just sends email. This is the layer that surfaces architectural problems.

A-07 · PRE-KICKOFF

What usually comes up before the first call.

Eight questions that land on every CRO Audit intake. Short answers here; the full ones live in the report.
Q.01
How is this different from a free CRO audit from an agency?

Free agency audits are sales pitches with audit branding. They flag generic issues to justify a six-month retainer proposal. This is a paid, fixed-scope diagnostic with no upsell built into the deliverable. The fix list is yours to give to anyone you want.

Q.02
How is this different from a $49 automated CRO tool?

Automated tools flag pattern issues (contrast, alt text, load times). They can’t tell you whether your value prop is wrong, whether your form asks for the wrong fields, or why qualified traffic from your best paid campaign is bouncing. The judgment is the product.

Q.03
Should I do a GEO Audit or a CRO Audit first?

If traffic isn’t converting, CRO first. If you have decent conversion but suspect AI is recommending competitors instead of you, GEO first. Same price either way. If unsure, send a URL and get a straight answer back.

Q.04
How long until I see results from implementing the fixes?

Quick Wins typically move indicators within 2–4 weeks. Strategic fixes (IA rebuilds, full funnel reworks) compound over 60–90 days. The audit tells you which is which.

Q.05
What do you need from me to get started?

Read-only GA4 (or whatever analytics you run), a short kickoff call to understand your business and buyer, and URLs of the pages that matter most. If your analytics are broken or missing, we'll need to fix that and get some data recorded before we draw conclusions.

Q.06
Can you implement the fixes after the audit?

Yes, as a separate engagement. Scoped CRO engagements, audit + implementation, typically take three weeks. Many clients take the fix list to their existing developer or agency. Both paths work.

Q.07
What if my site is already converting well?

Then you get a short report, a “don’t spend money on this” recommendation, and the budget redirects to traffic or a different rung of the funnel. You paid for certainty.
